Phoebe (Suy) Gibson
Hello!
I’m Phoebe, like from Friends. I studied journalism at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where I learned AP Style and how to conjugate verbs in Arabic. Since then, I’ve worked at a newspaper, for a nonprofit, and, most recently, for myself as a Houston freelance writer. My clients include print magazines, newsrooms, nonprofits, startups, and higher-ed institutions.
Outside of journalism, I enjoy reading, strength training, trying out new NYT Cooking recipes, and spending time with my husband Griffin and our toddler son. I am often stuck in traffic in Houston, Texas.
