Phoebe (Suy) Gibson

is a freelance writer, copy editor and content creator based in Houston, Texas. Prior to her stint in the nonprofit sector as a Marketing and Communications Associate for the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston, she was a general assignment reporter for the Beaumont Enterprise. As a Southeast Texas journalist, Phoebe’s covered everything from city council meetings to crawfish boils and catching a 500-pound alligator (You’ve got to see it to believe it). She is always looking and listening for the next story.

Phoebe first learned the art of storytelling at Baylor University, where she graduated with a degree in journalism and a minor in Arabic. When she’s not reading, writing or researching, she’s probably taking care of her plants or on a road trip with her husband.
